If your small business is not local in nature, the cost starts at $950.00 a month. Very competitive search results can be achieved for those businesses with online marketing budgets of $1,500.00 a month or greater. The actual monthly costs for non local SEO service depend on your competition and the competitiveness of your desired rankings.
I do not require a contract to perform my SEO services. I bill my service on a monthly basis through PayPal or by emailed invoice. I also do not charge setup fees to begin your SEO service.

I hear this regularly. Like any statement related to the cost of anything, this statement is subjective. I service several businesses that were paying over $1,500.00 a month for their SEO service but are paying less than $1,000.00 a month through me. I have quoted the same monthly costs to similar businesses who have declined due to the cost being to high. Ultimately it falls back to your priority. If being found by your customers in search results for years to come is important to you, the cost is insignificant. The ROI will always outweigh the costs over the service period.
What I encounter more than anything are small local business owners who do not have any type of marketing budget. I can’t work with a zero monthly marketing budget. I do have the ability to cater my services depending on the available budget. However, if my Local SEO rates are seem high to you, you probably do not understand or appreciate the the benefits of SEO and it’s impact on your sales and business revenue.
The real question is. What is the cost of not having daily search traffic to my business website? I was recently contacted by an electrician who had lost his Google Places rankings. He went from 50 plus phone calls a day to none. He operated several dozen service trucks across a 100 plus mile radius. His drop in rankings caused his business to fail in days. Unfortunately for him, he contacted me after the fact. Things had been done to his Google Places account that could not be undone in a short period of time. He needed a SEO professional from the start. Waiting or worse, doing things you think might work can ruin your online presence. My rates reflect my professionalism and experience and I am worth the cost.
If you have no rankings, you will continue to not rank until you do something about it. If you have some rankings, you will eventually be pushed down the results page as your competitors start to optimize their business websites. If you have great rankings, you probably need to solidify those rankings to insure you do not slip under your many competitors in the search results.
